Some Befores & After

The Air you breath in the winter or air conditioning in the summer may look like one of these picture?

1. Why is air duct cleaning so important?

Debris such as dirt, dust, dust mites and other allergens, accumulate in your home or business air ducts causing them to build up more and more debris over time. This is why it is important to get your air ducts cleaned at least once every four years. This will also help avoid problems such as mold and bacteria growth, which can cause breathing problems and illness for you and your family. The cleaner your ducts are, the better the quality of the air you’re breathing…and the more efficient your air conditioning and heating systems become so you can save on energy costs as well.

2. What is involved in the process of air duct cleaning?

Our professional air duct cleaner will use specially designed tools and an industrial vacuum to scrape and suck up the dirt and debris from your ducts. The vacuum will keep particles from entering your living area and the tools will remove debris from the ducts. Mold inhibiting agents may also be applied if needed and the air conditioner and furnace components should also be air washed during the cleaning process.

3. Can air duct cleaning really help my allergies?

It stands to reason that clean air ducts mean less pet dander, pollen, dust mites and other allergens in your home or office. Clean air ducts should mean that you and your family will suffer less when allergens are removed from your HVAC system.  We’re not medical experts, but cleaner air that you breathe when you’re at home or at your business should make you feel better, sleep better…live better.  Think about it!

4. Do I need air duct cleaning if my home is new?

Yes. It is very possible that your ducts could have built up debris from drywall dust and other materials used during the construction. Having your ducts cleaned is a key to having a healthy home.

5. How long does it take to complete an air duct cleaning job?

The length of time will depend on the size of the system that is being cleaned, since obviously a larger system will typically take longer to clean, assuming that the level of dirt on the air duct pieces is relatively similar.  A smaller home can take less than 2 hours to complete where a larger home can range from 2-8 hours.
